Almost 20,000 Latinx/o/as have been displaced from the gentrifying Logan Square. #BrownInChicago is a youth-led project and will present stories, photo gallery, poetry, film, and family trees of their lives growing up in the gentrifying Logan Square-- as a celebration of their existence and contribution to this community. Erasing brown stories is a form of violence.
Join us to connect, unbury and celebrate our history in this community and its connection to our organizing at the Logan Square Neighborhood Association.
We are collaborating with the Logan Square Arts and Craft Bazzar, a collective of fierce Latinx/a women artesanas from the Logan Square and Chicagoland communities.
Buya Presents the return of Roots & Rum!! Roots and Rum will be the perfect mix of Caribbean food, the best of Caribbean rum (Rum tasting), DJ FLX, and the powerful sounds of Buya.
